I've got some on the front of mine, can't really comment on what difference they make by themselves as I fitted lots of other suspension parts at the same time, but as Brian said in the link they fit perfectly. I fitted them as they should take a bit more of a hammering than the standard ones when on track.

They make no difference whatsoever when the links are in good order. The difference is that they should stay in good order far longer, since they replace the rubber bush of the E30 item with a ball joint.

I know this has already been resolved, but people searching for this may miss it in E30 chat if they filter their results to the tech section only.

Wasn't sure where to stick it as its not really a technical problem with the car. I'll know for the future but is there really any need for the patronising speech?

There's nothing patronising about the message unless you have very delicate skin.

We need people to post in the right forums so that Search works. We've got seven years of great answers to questions just like this one, and if people post them in odd locations over the site then they'll never get found via search.

What's more, not everyone checks all the sub-forums all the time. If you ask in the wrong place, you won't get the attention your question deserves.

The Team work hard to keep this place in shape - we only ask that you put in a bit of effort too.

The top bit is just a cut and paste and isn't intended to be patronising, just broadly encompassing, hence why I added the further note below, sorry if it came across that way John, but it was not its intent. You'll never write something like the above that doesn't sound patronising/faceless to some without it sounding like Keith Lemon wrote it to the eye of others.

Can't win 'em all. :D

Should this be in tech then? If so what should actually be going in E30chat?

If the first word is why, what or how or the sentence ends in a question mark, then it probably should be in tech. help, as long as it's E30 related.

This is a topic for E30 Chat as it was posted, but some threads develop so that they should probably be in tech. help.
