Some old duffer in some old pile of poo doing 35 mph in a national has thrown up a stone and cracked my windscreen!!! :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Insurance Ԛ£65 excess = new screen
RAC Ԛ£35+vat to fit my spare one!
better off getting a new one with a top tint - which mine "ahem " obviously has!!

asked the insurance company if they could get the glass co to fit my own screen on the same principle as a chip- cos they will fix a chip free - just as quick to change an E30 screen!

tight arse RAC want Ԛ£35 sheets!!

wouldnt mind too much but my car had the original screen in it - 16 years old and some old twat cracks it for me !!

you can put your spare one in yourself and pop down to autoglass and get them to put the beading in, it doesnt take much to get the screen in just getting the beading in is a pain!
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!
