Anybody remember this? There were two identical E30 M3s, one red one black iirc. They were sold with stupidly low mileage like 5k or so. Can anyone link me to the info about them? I bought two old matchbox diecasts yesterday at a bootsale (20p each) and want to drill them out and mimic these two. But I want to get the details precise.
Thanks guys
Thanks guys

Don't remember the ones you mention but there were 2 that "Bonkers" had that were both red Sport Evo's iirc with very low mileage...

Dodgy bastard who makes his money ripping people off, his "dealership" has been in and out of the courts time and time again and he is known to be a bit scummy around swansea way, got plenty of previous in his history.
With hind sight probably someone we don't want on the forum anyway.

he didnt own them both, didnt he just buy 1 of them, and only joined the zone and 1st post was to ask how much a delivery milage m3 was worth as he had been offered one, and was basicly laughed at and ripped to pieces by folk on here, then more so when he said well actualy theres 2, and there was, and the buyer had a collection of cars people on here can only dream ofgooner1 wrote:Owning 2 M3's doesn't stop anyone from being a coont.ross_jsy wrote:The 2 red ones with delivery mileage?

To the op, the cars you are thinking of we're for sale at 4star classics earlier this year.
They were both sport evos, and they only came in red or gloss black, I don't think there were many trim options which would change the looks, just cloth or leather interior from memory.
There wasn't anything particularly different about the matched pair iirc.

Thanks for the response guys, very quick and sorry for causing arguments within the forum. I agree fully that though he bought something all of us could only dream about, it doesn't mean hes not a... see you next tuesday...
I'm sure the ones I recal were baught by one guy somewhere, with more money than sense, to give to his two sons, who never used them? I could be wrong, but the 4*Classics eBay link brings me joy to what I'm trying to achieve. Also brought me much heart ache knowing I can't have almost all of the cars they have sold/have forsale.

Yeah Kos, something happened there, sounds like he knew him from way back, post was deleted before I saw it but buy the sounds of it he dragged up a few things that particular "boyo" didn't want out in the open.
He then removed all his own posts and possibly asked a mod to remove the offending post.
To be fair he didn't really help himself, if I went to any other forum and my first post said just "how much is a mint unused top of the range example worth?" followed by "yeah well I own two" then I would expect to get ripped to bits as a troll. Could have helped himself by giving a bit more info first. Even saying he was a car collector and had come across them in a job lot in the first post would have prevented the piss taking.

Soooo, I was right to condemn him on the original thread! There were plenty on here who said they didn't care how he made his money.. he was their hero for just having 2 delivery mileage M3's!

I did not condemn him or make any negative comments on the original thread and I won't join in now. He is obviously a very smart wealthy successful guy who also just happens to love turds. I am very envious and take my hat off to him, shame he is a bit council and partial to a bit of blue oval frag
I somehow doubt he was the one personally sending someone out in a loan car with a dodgy tyre (5k fine WTF !) or personally involved in many of the other negative stories relating to a company that probably sells thousands of cars annually and employs dozens of people in an area where jobs are very thin on the ground.

Name anybody successful and dig hard enough and you will find dirt or people willing to dish it. Who knows, maybe some of it true.
As for clocking, I cannot imagine there are many old time car traders without a haircut story or three. Back in the days before computerised MOTs etc IT WAS RIFE !

But, even if you are correct, he should have moved on to running an honest respectful business by now.. which it doesn't seem he has!

I don't think pete is defending it, just pointing out that it goes on (or used to ) everywhere, and that to slate one person because of it is pretty daft.
Didn't quentin wilson get 'done' for it at some point, yet he was still a television personality and is still used in tv ads?

Nothing daft about pointing out that one successful man amassed his money by being dishonest in the past, and immoral(at the very least) now!harry_p wrote:I don't think pete is defending it, just pointing out that it goes on (or used to ) everywhere, and that to slate one person because of it is pretty daft.

I think you will find most successful people have pulled a few strokes in their time ! Very few of them as mundane as serving a Laguna to some council type that has had a haircut at some stage.
The reality is you are just jealous of his collection of 14 53 mile Escort Bonus 90s !
