Thanks guys.

Any idea on the best products/equipment to keep these clean? Ease of cleaning is what im after, as getting in every basket weave is a time consuming ball ache!

I have given them all a coat or two of 'wheel wax' so far.

Best way to keep em clean is to keep on top of the maintenance, don't let them get too dirty as to allow the brake dust to stick and corrode the wheel.

Yes I do this but I was hopeing for some suggestions as to what to use to clean them, that might give me an easier time of it?
ATM im just using a cleaning glove but to get in every hole takes an age.
1ST set of split rims for me these are.

Lol, I have a set that have been sat in the garage for years.

They look amazing, but I know I can't justify the time needed to keep them sparkling

you need a decent, bare alloy safe wheel cleaner. Make sure it says suitable for bare alloy / polished wheels too (some have quite missleading names)

i never found the centres much of an issue, i found a sponge on a stick type thing which fitted through the gaps nicely. It's the polishing around each and every one of the 34 bolts per wheel that kills you fingers.

don't not do it though, as it won't take long until they pit or darken :(

and whatever you do, take them off before salt is put anywhere near the roads. it's literally impossible to keep them looking nice through winter. Think wash with soap and water after every journey, polish and seal once a week, even then you'll start seeing pitting.
cheers,

harry

valet pro bilberry is the product I use, although it says its not safe for yours (but best check other products).

However on this site someone has used it and they've been fine.
( http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/vie ... hp?t=12871 )

or here they've also used it http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... p?t=244907

Use with either a pressure washer or a hand held trigger bottle, spray on leave then wash off, so far I've had brilliant results.
