There's places on line that do replacement fobs, but first you need to identify what make and model your immobiliser is. Pics. would help.
The coding on fobs of E30 age is usually done by bridging or cutting tracks on the fobs circuit board.
The best solution is usually to remove the old unit, and replace it with a modern remote locking unit from the likes of Rightclick, which will come with two nice new fobs.

If it's not under the bonnet, the correct place is above/behind the glovebox area, where BMW provide most of the connections for it, but if it's aftermarket there's no guarantees. There's a panel that comes out with a couple of quarter turn things and a cross head screw.
The genuine BMW version has a box behind the glovebox and a horn under the bonnet.

An alarm/immobiliser was an optional extra on E30s. Quite an expensive one - it cost about the same as a LSD, but unfortunately was a far more popular choice.
There were also a couple of BMW 'approved' alarms that were fitted by dealers.

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? Autowatch seem like a pretty big company in New Zealand.
