Cheers guys, not seen pentons. I definatly think its a improovement, when I find a a fresh sunroofless shell to mint up itl be black... unfortunatly the cars not straight enough to get away with black... its had alot of panel/body work due to the battle scares its aquired.
Im getting the week on it after work now im working back up derby so it will make progress this week

it looks so much better in the blue!

obviously your good at painting - just out of interest what setup did you use for spraying bumpers - i can see the compressor and gravity feed gun(HVLP?), an do you just run it straight from the regulator or have inline oilers?

am looking to respray mine DIY in cirrus blue eventually but know very little about painting

Cheers dude. Yes a compressor (oil free if possible) or if its not oil free youl need a compressor dryer. If your planning on full resprays or larger stuff and want to run a d a sander ect you need somthing with a minimum of 14cfm and 100L I got mine as a package on ebay it was 320 with a hvlp spray gun. Ive done a fair few repaints with it (I upgraded my gun to a devilbiss gti) I also use the cheaper devilbis finishline I find it puts the paint on nicer than my gti and is a third of the price.

well im half way there then, i have a large compressor and a new hose, but my compressor is pretty oily and has been used with airtools so i will look into the dryers - I had been looking at the flg-5 guns so its good to know they work well! - thanks
