Collected a morselled up LPG'd 325 shooting break yesterday from Porstmouth , detoured to the Surrey meet on the way back for some horse'n'hating and got home without any dramas or having to put any fuel in the turd
Done a quick autopsy/ morsel count today and took pics ready to serve some of the tasty treats !
Then I worked on scrap

and a nice mans nice 325 sport

Swapped my old worn and binding Girling calipers for a nice fresh set of ATE items off a breaker.
Goodbye embarrassing squeaks and clunks, hello smooth silent braking.
On my way home from the test run a little girl ran out in front of me. Reckon it was her lucky day!
These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

Moved my 320 for the first time on its new coilovers, wheels and b25 engine - my first engine swap!
Dead rewarding moment when it pulled out of the garage - even if it is missing a few body panels...

Was cleaning clutter out of the garage.
A neighbors cat took a nap in the car while i was away.
I chased it & during its escape it knocked over the glass jars of my organised bolts and screws.
Now all my bolts and screws are one big mess which will make putting the car back together that bit more difficult, f**king f**k f**k

Ordered the K&N bolt in kit, expected 25 June from Amazon.
Checked progress, the steering rack is back from turner, all cleaned up, with new rubber boots and leaks repaired.

Like most days, I drove it. I did however get the 'low washer fluid level' light on today which makes it a slightly unusual day

If it ain't broke, fix it till it is

Collected the bitch after it's MOT. Had to store it in one of our warehouses until I get some road tax tomorrow. It will also give me some space to work on it...!

Could do with a wash and polish.
I'll apologise for the wheels, but these are going to be up for sale and replaced with the BBS'

Yesterday and today worked on the 323i - new rear discs and renew cambelt, tensioner, spring and viscous fan. Well, I will replace the viscous fan when it arrives from Germany.
Apparently Germany shut down for a week not long ago to install a new computer system and are still catching up with back orders

Germany is also enjoying some flooding, which tends to take out computer systems which are housed in basements with no flood protection measures.

Well done Mick!
I've spent my afternoon taking the M52's Exhaust Manifolds & Loom off to send to Danthe - However, removing the Lambda sensors from the manifolds is currently making a fool out of me - Neglected to soak 'em like i did the manifold nuts yesterday!!

Dusty country kills all thoughts of owning an intricately patterned BBS.
Alpina it is for me. Or a simple 5 spoke.

I don't think Alpina wheels would last long on Indian roads

Ok, I can't afford to import BBS or Alpina, anyway, any suggestions on what goes well with a black car and lots of chrome? Classic 4 bolt pattern that would be easy to keep clean.
Else, going to paint the steel wheels and find a cap like the one I saw on the 518 thread.

@ Kangy. I don't know mate, it came with the car. Certainly isn't a tech 2, which I would like at some point. Just some fibre glass shite for the moment.
