I was thinking pukar would have something up his sleeve but u don't think a sticker would work out either.

The back of the two hazard switches you described are different and only one lights up? I could be wrong but I'd assume one was pre facelift & the other one was not.

a sticker wont do, youd have to paint, but if you could get a perfect stencil, maybe computer printed/cut so its precise and could get it lined up exact, or buff the old emblem off- then white spray paint or air blow of some sort it should give a nice clear bright logo, its not like its going to be pressed much

ahh il check the backs, didnt think of plugging it in as i used the white one, thats same in a pre and post face car ive seen, but just wondered why there is a red one

i asked davidt last week he had someswitches there, he has a white logo one in his car,and also had a red one in his spares, and wasnt sure, was only wondering

Should NEVER need to be pressed! It's not an 'isolator'; it's a resettable fuse, and should only need to be reset after something has gone seriously wrong with a window's movement AND the window switch has been kept pushed.

i think a well made sticker would look fine, cut to the right side to fit the top, and lined up properly the clear background would be virtually invisible unless you were a proper scrub the tyre treads with a toothbrush type of weirdo.

I looked on realoem yesterday and the facelift switch is list at a bargain $159
cheers,

My chromie didn't have an emblem on the window isolator :) It was just blank - so blank in fact that it took me ages before I realised it 'did' something :P
If it ain't broke, fix it till it is
