i asked the seller why it was so expensive you can get these for £25

this is the response i got

The ECU is similar but the map i.e software is different from a normal 325i, so this will make more power.

At least it's cheaper than a new one from BMW - unlike many of the other used E30 parts in his ebay shop!

A quick look through his feedback list shows that he's successfully sold plenty of overpriced E30 stuff.
If the mugs are out there, then why not?
Hopefully, none of the 'mugs' are zone members, as I would hope that we've educated them enough to know what parts are worth.
