That's why after I ordered a new one from BMW and I was unfortunately moved by work to Yorkshire I left it in the box.

Did the CCTV actually film him removing it from your car?

In the highly unlikely event of the tw@t being caught, even with that CCTV pic, there will probably not be enough evidence against him as it will be difficult to prove its your particular splitter

Back in 2006, my now-ex had the bonnet of her new car keyed in a local supermarket car park. The whole thing was caught on CCTV, the girl who keyed it was plainly seen and identified by her face and reg No. of the her car.
She was let off because the angle of the CCTV didn't show the reg No. of my exs car so the police couldn't be sure that it was her car that got keyed in the CCTV footage!

There are 9 cameras and there is a shot of his face but not that clear, not interested in pursuing it with the police, just wanted to know what street he ran down, I went for a little drive tonight and found an E30 having some work done, gonna watch and see if it appears on that turd

I recently had a similar situation with someone trying to pinch my borbet centre caps!
Car was parked in town, came back from the shop and scumbag was down by the drivers wheel trying to undo the screw!
He didn't appreciate size 14 foot in his face!
