Hey guys,

Just getting stuck into my 318iS' M52 transplant, will be using Danthe's Manifold & downpipes, that marry up to a standard 325 system.

Does anyone know of any decent, fairly standard centre & tail pipe systems for a 325, that end in a single tailpipe, maybe around 2.5" max - I know of this Sportex system, but someone mentioned they were very loud? I've been in a 325 touring with a (admittedly, very large) scorpion system, and that was too loud for my tastes. Really want to keep the single pipe look, especially with it being an iS. Just looking to see what others are running, could comment on, etc - Budget wise, i don't want to spend a FORTUNE, but not looking for cheap crap either :D

The Sportex system, for what it's worth.. http://www.sportex-exhausts.com/Perform ... /product/2 [/url]

not had a sportex on my e30, but i had one on an xr2 and it was rather loud to say the least, have you got a long life stainless place near you, they build decent systems from scratch.

I wanted a single tailpipe on mine too for the same reasons you say, plus not having to cut the valence. But having a normal 325i twin tailpipe exhaust I picked up for £40...I'll just be fitting that to save costs and keep the missus happy!

There's a couple nearby Stainless places nearby (Fritz for one), but they are all super expensive systems, something i'd like to think about down the line ideally, complete with a manifold to match.
"Luckily", a previous owner of my car extended the valance's exhaust hole to a size that would accomodate about 4 pipes, so i thought i'd pick exhaust before having that fixed! Will go standard twin if needs be, just fancy a single that isn't super loud..

Fwiw, my iS has a ~2.5" single on it now, again from previous owner, semi-loud but really nice exhaust note!
