Or are the BMW pipes finished with a bubble Flare?

The second one is the same as I've got.
They are a very good tool.

Does it mark the pipe at all?
I wont be using steel pipe so I think this will last for a full set of flares?

Does leave very little marks on the pipe but unless your an inch away you wouldn't notice.
I take it you'll be using kunifer?
Had my tool well over a year now and don't plenty of flares and they're still perfect.

You would be better off with tool that does both types of brake pipe flare( concave and convex . op1 and op2) Then You could do both types of brake pipe end to fit 99.9% of cars.

True, but the double flare is not the same as a bubble flare and wont work, I have used these hand held ones before and they didn't do the flare anywhere near as nice as the BMW factory pipes.
I think I'm going to play it safe and go for the bubble flare in my second link.

You could always put some tape around the pipe stop it marking it.Demlotcrew wrote:Cool cool, im using a hard anodised aluminium pipe, never thought about Kunifer!
