Brilliant, cheers! Now I need some wire, I don't think a bent paperclip will cut it.

Well started yesterday afternoons instalment with a moral booster by spending a good hour or so seeking then patiently removing a 6mm socket I had dropped down the side of the engine the week before. Then I whipped off the rocker cover and had a second attempt at adjusting my tappets, hopefully this time I have improved them rather than making them worse

more driving, oil check. Enjoyed the ridiculously expensive new pads and disks, got the back out (a bit) and drove like a dick around a roundabout.
It must be the weather....

The weather's been consistently dry for the last couple of days, and the outlook is good for the coming week, so booked the MOT for Friday.
Tax will be purchased on Friday after the MOT. I will then put new rubbers on the set of BBS' I purchased at the beginning the year, and run them as they are. Refurb the set come Autumn, when she will be off the road again

Fitted a small plastic washer with a fibre one above it on each screw under the ring, probably only raised it by 1mm - 1.5mm, but it works now which is what matters.

Took it to Newby Hall and back - work were paying for the fuel so it seemed only right to use petrol instead of LPG. Driving across the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and down/up Sutton Bank was glorious in the sun today!

Embarrassed and bewildered an E46 M3 cab owner across a stretch of dual carriageway.
Then limped it home with the whole car vibrating.
