So I've fitted my rack been driving the car about
And the steering linkage is ever so slightly touching still
I've made the dent in the down pipe
But I'm going to drop the exhaust down again
I just wonder if anyone has any pics of how much of a dent they made?
As I really don't want to split the down pipe ?
Thanks
Dave

you tried putting new/stiffer engine mounts on too , to eliminate excess engine movement when cornering .

It's not difficult to move the steering column over a bit where it comes through the bulkhead.

I've got an E46 67 rack waiting to go in, I was recommended these engine mounts to help clear the exhaust, not 100% but sure it'll help with an E36 rack. Several people have opted for these mounts. DanThe recommended them to me..

So these burton mounts don't require any modding?
Thanks

I don't know for sure. I haven't fitted them yet. But as far as I understand I think they'll go straight in..
