If you bounce up and down on the rear of the car, does it do it?

Or jack the car up, and then use the jack to move the trailing arms, being careful not to lift the car off the stands.

If anything though, I'd have to go with the anti roll bar bushes.

it could be the rear shock top mounts or a rubber bushing ... something.

When bouncing the rear I can hear a hiss from the rear shocks. When in the car I hear the same but addition to that when ever I go over a pot hole or uneven road surface I can hear squeaking, something that sound like rubber rubbing against rubber I have power flex subframe bushes and trailing arm bushes could those be it?

A natural reluctance of people to admit in public that they've fallen for advertising spiel and wasted their money?

Must be the trailing arm ones squeeking then because my poly rear beam mounts have been on for seven years and don't squeek.
cheers,

It'll be a rotating part that squeaks. Anti roll bar bushes are prime for it, and the trailing arm bushes could be a culprit, especially being poly bushed instead of rubber.
