Hit a little snag - I don't seem to have the wire (blue?) going to the switch on the hand brake for the sensor, I've looked all around and can't see any spare wire or anything comming from the loom behind the middle if the dash heavy area, where is the source if the sure where should it come from and connect ? I think I'm going to have to run a new wire ?
Cheers

Comes off of the smaller of the two looms that goes to the centre under the passenger seat. There's a branch off of the loom around the area where the reverse light switch plug is, that goes back to the rear ashtray lamp (red/grey and brown/white) and the handbrake light wire.
No plug on the end of it - just a short length of tinned bare wire.

It would seem very unlikely that someone has taken the trouble to completely unthread and remove the wire, so it must be there somewhere, even if it's been cut short.
The wire is blue/grey.

The wire branches from the loom to the rear ash tray about half way between the two bolts that secure the handbrake. In your pic. looking straight down on top of the handbrake, there's a suspicious looking 'blob' in the area.

I thought that also, it must be there, almost zero chance it has been removed
Carl, when you drove the car last, did you notice the handbrake light on all the time ??
