Hi Chaps,
When driving my car around corners, it seems to feel like its floating a bit, i've a quick check underneath and can't see anything dodgy. Could it be my steering linkage at all?
Thanks

'er indoors always moaned about 'heavy steering',so I guess I have the wrong E30's!
On a more serious note, though, pop the bonnet and examine the steering shaft guibo mounted on the exhaust side of the engine. These rubber/fabric couplings have a nasty habit of falling apart after 20 years or so and can lead to odd steering response.Get a helper('er indoors is perfect)to waggle the steery wheel whilst you look at the coupling, you need to see no free play whatsoever.
The fix is both simple and almost cheap,a new rubber quibo from your local stealer and four of the special, shouldered bolts to replace the rivets that hold the original in place.

I got a feeling it could be this mate, appreciate the advice. I've noticed that my steering feels a bit wobbly at times and it veers to the left too

Check your tracking and tyre pressures.

Yeah. Make sure the tyres guys haven't just whacked up the pressures to get the bead to sit and then not corrected them.
If the tyres are right, then the tracking is the next easiest thing.
