Hi All

I'm new here, but have a couple of E34s already. I've been itching to buy somthing new for a while, preferably another V8, but this is for sale locally and I've always wanted one! There's a bit of rust on it but it drives very nicely and seems as cheap as chips. It's got 6 months mot, a few days tax, has covered 112K and the current owner has had it for 8-years. I'm looking for something to use for a couple of months and then maybe sell on, but not sure what it's worth or if there's much demand for them?

Cheers

Rich

I wouldn't go for more than 500-600...Nothing special about it, just a 4 cylinder red touring.

Have a run through this and tell us what it values the car at, and we'll tell you if its too high or too low:

Its a fairly late one on an L - and most of the later ones seem to be Lagoon green.

Seems to have the usual rot in the usual places so will almost certainly need welding underneath.

How much does the seller want for it ?

I'd put it somewhere between £600 - £800 depending on what advisories were on the last MOT and how much welding is needed

My very first E30 was a white K plate touring....it was rusty in the rear door shuts on the cill seam...also look at the rear of the back door shuts at the window line, they can develop a stress crack here that is very tricky to fix.
Tailgates rot, water runs down the glass into a channel at the bottom and has no escape route, thus rotting out the skin.Good,rot-free tailgates are therefore rare and expensive.

One above is missing it's front lip rubber spoiler, but that's an easy fix.

£500/600ish.

thanks everyone

he's gone down to £550, which seemed cheap to me, but will need taxing on top. There were no advisories on the last mot. It's unusual for me to find anything interesting out here, but something else has come up that I'm going to look at today. If I don't go for the E30 and anyone on here is interested, I can put you in touch with the seller.

What with the cost of tax. I'd say get him down to £500..
