v8 convertion problems

hi ive done a v8 convertion on my e30 and now its not running right, firstly when u start it it takes ages to start and stuggles to start and secondly when u put your foot down sometimes it dont rev past 4 rpm and then it dies out and i have to wait a couple of hours before it starts again. any one know of any bmw specialists or know them selfs thank you . sunny .

What engine, DME, gearbox, fuel system etc might help.

Disconnect your Idle control Valve this should eliminate your idling issue. I am running with no ICV at the moment made no difference infact ran much better.
As for your start issue, If on cold it start fine and once its warm it takes a while to fire back up then it has to do with your coolant sensor.
Mine is an M62B44 and had the same issues.
