As per title, i need some info on Bilstien B8's and B10's.
This is to do with the wilwood 6 pots that are for sale in the For Sale section at the moment. I need to find out if the shock and spring combo is tried and tested by anyone as they are currently reserved by me pending more information on the suspension.
Please advise, thanks.
Tom.
PS, the car gets used heavily at the Nurburgring and gets driven hard, i had Gaz Golds before so these need to be up for a beating
Need info asap re: Bilstien B8's and B10's

Only info i have is via txt that came fromanother person before that, and i quote...
'Hi, i think it was an AC Schnitzer bilstien B8 or B10 shock but cant be sure, let me see if i can speak to the guy who made them.'
These shocks were sold by Dazchin on the zone to the guy that i am now looking to buy them off if that helps.

It'll be B6's or B8's then.
Maybe a typo on the txt.

I've just been searching for old threads, by the look of what came up they are B8's with KW springs.
KW i know are good, B8's i know nothing about but the shock has been threaded so its essecially like a coilover (see for sale thread http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=238527).
The guy lives near me so i might pop over 2moro and pull one apart to have a look... if he'll let me

I just ordered b8's. So hopefully the zone elders don't say they are made from Kenyan galvanised tin.

Yeah ok dan i know lol, but look at it this way, the brakes are worth more than the asking price anyway, i used to run them on my old one so i know exactly how good they are.
Then apparently the shocks are b8's with kw springs, not a bad setup really from what i can work out.
Then there's the fact that gaz's are LOTS more money! I can always upgrade that later on

There are a few threads on rv3limited.tomislav wrote:Come on people, any solid b8 info?
I think b8's are relatively new. Came out 2012? I could be wrong. Either way, not many will have first hand experiance.
I plan on running mine with elibach pro kit springs. I'll let you know how i get on.
