Where's the best place and manufacturer for prop centre bearings? What sort of money are they?

Febi Bilstein is OEM. Just make sure you get the right one! I think facelift/pre facelift are different.

I bought the full bearing + housing - about £37-£38 I think. They deliver quick too!
As I say, just check part no. of whatever your ordering vs. your car on Realoem to be sure.

Don't spend money on some cheap crap like Meyle or Hans Preis or anything non-oem...
Like others said, get Febi - it costs a bit more, but it's worth it.
I bought mine from here > http://www.sparepartstore24.co.uk/1867107-febi-bilstein
About £45 quid, including VAT and delivery, but mine's a 325i, so yours might be different.
You can check the right part for your car on Febi's website here > http://www.febi-parts.com/?lang=GB

Lemforder is an OEM spec isn't it? £15 difference between that and the Febi unit.

Blitz, I know Meyle is German, but I read too many scary stories about it online, so based on that and the fact it costs less than half of what you would pay for Febi, I decided to stay away from it...
Rix, Lemforder for 15 quid? Where?
Can't be that cheap...

It made sense for me to get the guibo from them at the same time to dilute the P&P charge.TheDutch wrote:£26.40 + P&P for the whole assembly from C3BMW:

It's a few years since I bought so I can't say for sure but I believe so. It's been happily spinning away for the last 30k miles if that helps. FWIW C3BMW are somewhat specialist as the name infers, they cannot really be compared to ECP or GSF.rix313 wrote:It was a lemforder part when it arrived then?

Really good prices and quality items on C3BMW...All OEM brands, like Bosch, Febi, etc.TheDutch wrote:It's a few years since I bought so I can't say for sure but I believe so. The website does look a bit dodgy, but from I can see they have decent products at very competitive prices
