Part number is 0 001 314 025 which comes up on google as a BMW part listed for many 4 and 6 cylinder models from the early 70's to early 90's. One of the hits is for an M40 318, which I doubt it is as its not much like the one on my motor.
Having a clear out and was going to ebay it, so has anyone got a clue which model its off? (apologies for the small images)
