This may sound lame....just to the lower left of the steering there is a knob...whats it for?

It's a hydraulic headlight adjuster.
Lowers and raises the beam for example if you have lots of beer in the boot
Very rare to find them working!

i thought they only had that in tourings for when theyre loaded up.....mines still works though

Mine works ... but not sure if it's fully operational.
How much movement do you see between fully up and down? Reckon the light pattern on the road moves about 5-10cm on mine.

Mine still works! the PO had it replaced about 5 years back, cost him about Ԛ£200 to have it fixed from memory...
