Appologies Paul, It just pains me to see another zoner going through shit, especially yourself, youve had enough e30 woes. Props to him hes not hiding, but that doesnt cancel out his initial actions. Please do the right thing and sort it out cutz, be it a refund, the extra wheel or whatever.Gert_8 wrote:No, please let Verde have his say. False advertising in my opinion, clearly making out 5 wheels were for sale. The only one playing a game is the seller.

Seller : Sort your shit out, if your gunna post photos of the parts several years before now in much better condition than current ( knowing full well ) be prepared to accept a backlash, possible refund and loss of credibility when your risk doesnt pay off.

I had a set of 5 in good nick with brand new caps and brand new Conti tyres up - I could not get £400 for them - clearly they were worth that but nobody wanted to pay that much because they were 'just a set of BBS.'
So I kept them. The zone is riddled with skinflints who want the earth for nothing.

Summary:
A set of alloys including a spare advertised in decent condition with pictures showing them being as such. Four arrived, in not so good condition (especially centre caps).

I like how the seller is just posting back at Verde and not the situation in hand.
This is a sham. You expect to get what was advertised when you part with your hard earned cash, no matter what it is.
Sort the man out CUTZ and don't be a bellend. send on the 5th wheel or refund the guy.

What i love most about people who feel ripped off is that they start whining, if said wheels had arrived better than the condition buyer thought, would a buyer start a thread saying "look at these minters i nearly stole for 200 squid??? lol I feel sorry for CUTZ with all u bullys picking on him!

Pretty standard thing really? When someone receives bad service or products they will complain to others about it. If they get good, they generally don't because they are satisfied, this happens everywhere in life, not just on places like E30zone.

It's completely irrelevant what he paid for the wheels.
The advert stated 4 and a spare.
The photos showed nice wheels.
What he got was 4 lumps of scrap which is NOT what he was expecting.
The photos are clearly misleading showing nice clean wheels that most would be happy to put on a car and run with. What arrived were 4 tatty rims in need of a complete refurb!
I would be expecting a full refund and the seller arranging a courier to come and collect the wheels. And the seller banned from the for sale and wanted sections. Nothing less.

Then you need to state that. No good fannying about trying to strike deals. it's either that or a paypal claim. Which in this case WILL rule on your side as there should be 5. No point in discussing it further. if he don't play ball. Advert is wrong. Photos misleading. Bang a claim in.
