Looks like it's going to be that way Goosie.
Ordered a New front panel, so that's on it's way, and a very good rear panel, as when lifting the rear loom out of the boot, I discovered some more horrors

Today's been productive and alot of wasted time.
Cleaned up the head, put all the valves and springs back in, fooking collets were a bastard and didn't want to know on a few of them, but perseverance prevailled.
Ordered NEW Febi Rockers from GSF
, as they were able to deliver to me.
Then, problems started, LOL, putting the shafts in, and trying to get the first rocker in place, "Rocker says No",
COOONT, looked at it, scratched my head, phoned Zaust (Thanks Marc)
and after looking at the other 11 of them, GSF had put in an M20 one!!!
On the phone again, and an hour later all sorted..................so I thought, looked at the rocker and realised it wasn't FEBI ,
but a cheap chinese piece of shit
Again, onto the phone, and another hour late, and checked it before the driver drove off, It was aFEBI M30 Rocker..
Then it was onwards.
Result....all I have to do now is change a few gaskets for new ones, and it'll be ready to bolt onto the bottom end tomorrow....
Clean rocker shafts.

The New FEBI Rockers

And all installed..

No, GSF deliver within the hour, so no hanging about playing guessing games on when the parts will arrive.
Shell will be started on when the engine is completed this week.

Lol for some reason when it's your own donk all reasonable answers go out the window. Just happy it's together. Now time to up set the gaps and please bleed the oil tensioner correctly before you try and start it. Was looking at the tps diagrams and still none the wiser. Rekon you can make the m30 one fit though without to much bother.

Tell me about it, before I phoned you, IT had to be the WRONG FOOKING ROCKER I took out of the package
out of the 12 LOL
Anyway, got it done within, what, about an hour after speaking to you.
I'll look into the TPS tomorrow when I get a chance.

Just keep the updates coming. And yes you can run the standard ecu but just less control than a stand alone. Its the midrange you will be looking for as third gear is your strongest on your set up. Forth and fifth just follow suit as long as the pressure holds out.
the standard fpr should be more than fine with a good pump.
I'm quite interested in the turn out. Reckon a 3:15 diff is where your at too. Fook the strip its road running that's the real test.

Standard FPR is 3 bar?
I reckon 3.15 diff is too tall, i've got a 3.64 to bolt up to this one
And pump wise, I think the standard in-tank one might be ok, but i'll look up the external ones too.

I have a 3.46 on the cab Marc, and 1st is useable as a normal gear.
What g/box you running in the touring???
Mine is a standard E34 M30 one.
Lee, no idea on power, but a fresh rebuild should be back close to factory spec, and with the ITB's a liitle bit more.
