ok i know various questions have been asked about this but i still need help having read through everything :hammer:

basically i don't know where to start! what unions to use, what piping to use, braided hose or solid tube.

i can't visualise what the unions are going to look like or how the tube attaches to them, there's all sorts of relevant parts and kits on ebay.com but i have no idea what to buy?

do i buy the 2-bolt flanges and gaskets, or can i screw the unions directly into the threaded holes in the bearing housing?

so basically help!

Oil return pipe from a freelander TD4 i think Ant said, do i need any other fittings on the sump-end or will this fit a tapped hole on the sump directly?

Im sure on the M30s there is a pressure switch on the intake side of the head?

You could put a T piece in there, then get custom hoses made up, i think it would cost about Ԛ£40 for what you want to do from a good specialist.

it's the getting the custom hoses made up bit i'm struggling with. no idea where to go. you can buy supply/drain kits on ebay.com but i don;t know if they're suitable. :?

These guys should be able to help.

Tell them all the sizes and dimentions and they make up the cables there and then.

So it would be something like M10 to the size on the Turbo fitting and then again from the turbo to the sump.

Or if you fit a t-peice then they can help you with that too.

toby,
as karan said, you could try pirtek,
they're mobile so they'd probably come to you, may make things easier
for you.
the feed to the turbo may need to be teflon, to take the temperature.

cool, thanks everyone!

didn't mean to sound clueless, but i've got a vague idea what i'm doing with everything else and this was the one thing i wasn't sure about.

if this or another company can look at the turbo housing and oil press switch tapping and make me something i can just screw in, that sounds fine by me!

anyway, back to building the megasquirt - going to be a long night i think!

Just a quick comment, the oil pressure switch is m12x1.5 pitch. Try finding any fittings in this country that go in that, its a pain in the ass. I'm sure there are companies but not that i could find.
