Toyota brake cleaner IIRC. But ideally you'll want the bonnet off the car.

You need to get it all off, I saw what happens if you don't remove the old stuff completely and add a new one, it doesn't stick properly

I used winns brake cleaner and it worked fine. Make sure you are working in a well ventilated area, it's strong stuff.

I got the worst of the old glue off but it was by no means clean and 3 years later the new foam is still firmly in place.

Really? That's pretty cheap and I didn't know they were still selling it..

Any exact part number? I can't find anything specific myself...They are not listed in the parts catalogue.

..got an original kit from main dealers, scraped off the old with a decorators scraper, used some sandpaper on what was left, got a can of spray glue, applied it to the adhesive on the foam as if there was none there already, banged it on... solid. Wont come off in a month of Sundays.
