Just had a new ECP booklet land on my desk this morning entitled corrosion repair. Look what I found inside! We have stock available too, all part numbers are listed below, contact your local branch if you need to order!

I'm sure anyone trying to get their £500 turd through an MOT would prefer to spend £40 and a few hours 'fettling' than be stuck paying dealer prices for the same part!rhubarb wrote:Difference being the dealer ones will fit first time and aren't made of Chinese steel, sorry

There is one patch on one of yhe outer sills that can be ground down.
But would be better to replace the twenty or so year old metal

The sills that ECP do are a 'cover sill' , only of use for getting a sorry snotter through a MOT.
Much better off to do local repairs to the rusted areas .

Buy quality and do the job once, and there's no need to buy from the dealer
