I dont know how much space we have on the site Mods, but i was wondering what everyone though of a Members Journal Section on the forum? Everyone loves their E30 here and we all have our ups and downs with our cars and it would be nice if we could share it with the fellow zoners. There are also some fantastic cars here that i for one would love to read about how the owners came to own them, what they've done so far, what they plan to do next etc. Anyone else think it will be a good idea or i'm i on my own on this one

Cheers....
I'm not convinced though....would a more public journal not be better, especially as you can put photos etc. in?

I have to say i'm with Zayyan on this one. The fact that i didn't even know there was a Journal section in my profile says it all really and as Zayya say's you'd be able to stick photos and stuff with your write-up.
Either that or we could turn the photo's section into something like that ?

i agree with Bootyman a section on the forum for this itself would allow alot more people to see it and it would become a more active area for sharing news and views

Seeing as the site already has journals then we're not going to set up a separare section on the forums.
It's in everyone's "your account" page and anyones can be read by others unless you choose to make it private.

Fair enough. It was just a thought, but if too much work and hassel for the mods then we'll just have to do with what we have.

Started writing notes in mine when the new Forum started. Must admit I'd forgotten about them and just been back and had a look. Amazing to re-read what was bothering me at the yime - now all forgotten!

That's the whole reason i started this thread. I've been posting on the old Zone for ages and have been here on the new Zone from the begining and i didn't know there was such a place either

Perhaps explore the site a bit more guys?bootyman wrote:That's the whole reason i started this thread. I've been posting on the old Zone for ages and have been here on the new Zone from the begining and i didn't know there was such a place either
There's plenty on here and we can't have big obvious links to everything. We try our best to help you but there's only so much hand holding we can do.

I have to admit that i'm guilty of logging in and going straight to the forum, so i guess it is time to explore the rest of the place
