Basically I was wondering if this is a big job?
She's on 150,000 miles now and pulling strong, idle is rough and I am pretty sure that visually I can see the Gaskets etc are gone:-
e.g Manifold gasket non existent has broken off / TINY leak from the head gasket etc.
Has a bit of a rough idle and this would eliminate some of the roughness relating to the idle I guess.
Any info would help if there is a guide on how to??
Or is it a methodical approach and not that hard??
I'd say mechanically I am pretty competent about being able to do this as I've helped a friends MK2 Golf doing the same job and it worked out fine engine is running healthy, I know the engines are different but approach wise??
Cheers Tan.

This will give you a n idea of a head gasket swap, and while you're taking it all apart you just replace all the other gaskets as you go:
