Is it worth having my B25 " Crypton Tunned" ?

All i want is to get the fuel/Air system checked, As at the last MOT, the CO was high, around 3%, and it does seem to be that the MPG is getting worse.

Kam,

To be honest, it's probably not worth spending out for a Crypton tune. There's virtually no adjustment available, so there's not much they can do apart from adjusting the idle mixture screw. This would probably improve the idle mixture, but probably won't change anything else.

When was the car last serviced ?

I'd go through and make sure everything is spot on (plugs, leads, rotor arm and cap etc) before looking at adjusting the idle mixture. If all this is okay then ask the MOT place if they can adjust the mixture for you. It's only a single screw on the AFM that get's adjusted and they should be cheaper than a full Crypton tune.

Cheers,

Ian.
