I used the old service light reset tool the other day and since doing that my washer fluid warning light has come on on the check panel.
Would this be down to dodgy batteries in the board, dodgy check panel or something completely different?
Thanks.

check control is in no way connected to the service lights.

I forgot to mention that both the washer bottle sections are full to the brim. (I knew I forgot to mention something).

Try twisting the sensor around. you might have knocked it and the sensor could be sitting side way or upside down, hence light is constantly on.

Check the level detector in the bottles.

There will be a plastic hex bolt thingie with two wires coming out of it on top of the bottle. pull this plug out and short out the two wires with a piece of old wire, that should turn the light off, yes then your sensor is knackered, try to unscrew it and see if enything is obviously wrong but i dont think they can be repaired.
if shorting does not turn off the light then inspect the wiring as there is likely to be a short to the car body somewhere. It is not related to your service lights whatsoever!

Thanks for the help, it just coincidence that it came on when I reset the lights. Thinking about it though, I did change the rocker cover, so I might have knocked a wire....
Thanks again, I can add this to my list of jobs! lol
