I have recently bought an E30 325i sport which has 16 OZ split rims that are the same style as the original 15 BBS ones (i have been told these are original BMW wheels??), however one of the seals is passing causing the tyre to deflate. does anyone now if you can buy replacement seals or if there are any companies that can help preferrably in scotland

Hi Dav, I have a set of BBS split rims that have been re-furbed in Germany, and to look at the joint between the rims it looks to me like they have used some sort of quality silicone sealer, cheers Dave

I've got a set of Image splits and I'm pretty sure they're silicone sealed together. Perhaps get in contact with them if you can't find a suitable gasket? Think their site is www.imagewheels.co.uk

you have to use High Modulus sealant.

Dunlop High Modulus silicone sealant is the stuff to use. Please DO NOT use bathroom silicone.
