I think its fuel related. Think theres no fuel getting to the engine. It ticks over. And somes starts and sometimes it doesnt. But when it does start it likes to cut out. Im like 2 minz from my work place and i dont think my car can take anymore abuse. So im going to have to toe it.
Not a great start to my saturday

the fuel pumps are prone for a dodgy connection ,try a direct 12.v feed to the live on top of the pump but check the filter while your at it .
best of luck.

I was going to ignore this post, following Chris's post earlier in the week : http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=237732
but, if your description of the fault is accurate, and your car has the later type ABS set up (red/yellow wire on both sides of pin 20 in the C101 engine loom plug and socket), then change the DME relay.

Foud out the cause of the problem.
My battery was unsecure, so when i went aroubd a roundabout lastnight. The battery moved and some of the wires in the battery terminal come loose.
I bought a better battery terminal, secured all the wires properly. And job done.
Thanks to DURACEL aka Ben Dewen. Topman
