if its going on the red cabby, i dont think you can, an IS splitter wont go on as a prefacelift valance is different, on a positive note however if your selling drop me a pm!

What's the part number of what you've been supplied?

They push up into the holes on the underside of the lip on the front panel, tap the pins home with a parallel punch to lock them in place, then the splitter should just clip in.
When my wife drove an E30 every day, I used to buy these clips in bulk.
