Just invested in 6 months tax and a full years insurance up front for my daily sh1tter meaning the E30 is on the back burner - again
I had planned to Tax it this month but been cleaned out on the other car and I'm away the first 2 weeks in June so doesnt make sense to Tax it until 1st July
I miss the old girl too - been on SORN since September last year
Anyone else missing getting their E30 fix at the moment ?

Just had to mot and tax my range rover , what really really winds me the f**k up, every single time you go to tax it, it's gone up since you got the f**king letter !!! It's a joke it's every single time
1st time ever Ive had to mot a car at a different place, my mate does all mine since I've been driving , but they have just moved to a better location over the road and not mot'ing yet , So had to take it somewhere else ... It had new brakes only a few months ago and they are fine , it passed but the chap says ..I'm not sure but think you need new rear pads ,I can do them if you want ? I said no I'm ok mate they are only a few months old , oh , ok
...and I drive home, and got a fooling high pitch squeak now when I brake with a bit of force , wtf

was sorned for 18 months, sat looking sad on the driveway... now taxed, MOT'd, insured and with new dampers and boots at the front and a few other little niggly bits tidied up.
For the first time in ages I 'just nipped out for a drive'
Love that car.

Got a couple of jobs lined up to do on the chromie before I get the rent in the screen, the MOT is probably out now too, not that its a problem just the added cost, im losing faith a bit, got so much other stuff going on I cant find the time for it, not to mention that the council has just dumped a million tonnes of grit over all the roads round here

I guess I will just have to make the most of using mine in that short summer window from July through to October or so and then SORN it again. Thats if we actually get a summer this year - wore my shorts for the first time this week - still fookin cold though
Got a 3k mileage limit - have to get it all in in 3 months

I have just aquired a rough old 325 touring with long tax and test and no pressing mechanical issues. I am enjoying smoking it while I make room to convert it to Chinese specification

FFS pete don't kill another one

If its got long test can't you run it for a few months and the P40/chickenwire/newspaper it up and serve it with a new MOT to another victim

It is worth a lot more in bits than as a complete tatty car. An added bonus is not having to deal with the scum that selling a cheap and cheerful car attracts
I have three very nice tourings, another rough one culled is no loss.
Obviously I would feel much better if it was just a quattroporte

Mine always insured in case it gets pinched!

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.
