You're driving too quickly for someone that has recently passed his test. Also in a car with soft suspension.verde wrote:For those demanding footage. Heres James clips of a little Sunday jaunt

It looks ALOT faster on film. I didnt exceed 50. James will back me up, I drive like a fucking fairy. Iv had the car at 60 but generally sit between 45- and 50 as the car isnt up to much more plus the roads dont allow itGert_8 wrote:You're driving too quickly for someone that has recently passed his test. Could this be moved to the photo section please??
New shocks arrive and 60mm springs on their way, also got a new air filter. And thanks to the pure bitch today giving me a ticket tomorrow will involve fixing the wild over run - back fire issue and gun gumming the tits off the pipe
I also fell and broke the number plate so I put a new shiny one on. The anti roll bar has been painted, and the ARB bushes done aswell as the lower outer arm bushes. Dad also made some conical ones to go at the back of the ~ARB to act as ACME poly bushes and they really work well/ Its also on the E30s 15" BBS for the time being.

No, it throws the look of the front entirely out of
sync, but that,s just my opinion.[/quote
+1
Ive never liked it when the plate is moved from dead centre, reminds me of scrap.
Looked much better in the place it suppose to be

Haha fair does folks. The problem with it being dead centre is that it bends the plate, and it looks wierd from the side. I like the sharp angles.
I like the off set

Today has been an absolute fucking disaster. After removing my rear suspension I realised the shocks Iv been sent are wrong, so im no longer able to go to jumanji nights tomorrow. Angry is not even the word. Toget KYB replacement shocks it will take up til the 21st of May. Unfortunately my MOT is on the 20th I also go a fucking defect notice because the local bint of a policeman thought my exhaust was blowing failing to realise its a perfectly legal straight pipe. So because I cannot drive to the MOT station I will now be receiving a 60 pound fine which I cant afford.

Luckily we found out mk2 golf rear suspension is pretty much identical. So Il make Jumanji tomorrow AND I wont get nipped for not being able to make an MOT station

So on the way back from jumanji nights my friend and I realised why running standard e21 bolts with e30 bbs and 5mm spacers on poor quality potted roads is a shit idea.
We found out at 70mph 150 miles from home. Noone was hurt and miraculously the car was completely fine. Luckily the only damage suffered was a disconnected hose that pissed washer fluid on the relay for the indicators.
We jacked the car up, stuck a steel back on and nursed it home at 45/50. Lesson learned, im studding the wheels. Wer very lucky to be alive and for that I am thankful. Id also like to say a big Fuck You to the Fife police force who did absolutely sod all to assist when they reluctantly decided to stop. And to the people behind me who saw my wheel fly off, 10 feet in the air then bounce 100m off the verge into a field, then witness me slide a football pitch on my front disk and didnt think to stop and check everyone was OK.
