Alpina Three Spoke Steering Wheel Valuation.
Moderator: martauto
Just debating whether or not to sell my Alpina three spoke steering wheel, without the comedy 'I'll give you 58p and a packet of Wotsits' type answers I'm wondering what to ask for it, I bought it from BMW brand new a few years back but wanted to save it for that day (if it ever comes) when I have my Sport restored, I fitted it for a day just to see what it was like then put it back in it's box, also has the genuine/Momo leather covered boss kit, any ideas on value?

Second hand from what ive seen approximately 250-300, it wouldn't surprise me if they cost 600 new though as the tech2 ones are 500 odd new from the dealer. I'd look for 300 ish and be prepared to take 250 personally. Or stick it on ebay for 350 start and see what happens.

although when i looked on realoem.com, it said 450 dollars which i guess is around 300. Is that about right for the alpina wheel then 250ish, that's what i thought i saw them for on ebay and places.

Surely though an as new boxed Alpina would have a premium over a Tech 2 purely down to it's rarity. If good tech 2's are going for £250-300, although these must be mint as I've seen them more at the £100-150 mark for normal good condition used ones, then a brand new Alpina has to be minimum £300?

yes in theory it would be worth more. Cant see the op, having much problem getting 300-350 on ebay. At the end of the day its what someone is prepared to spend at the time, sometimes i know on certain items i overspend, because there rare, or i desperately need something, so i don't think there's a set price as such. I would use around 300 as a guideline especially in as new condition, may even get 400 you never know.Chris_B86 wrote:CrikeyRav335uk wrote:Tech 2 steering wheel is now £568 plus Vat from the dealers.![]()
