Very frustrating problem - my Clifford alarm has immobilised me. I normally unlock from the boot, and the push the button to de-immobilise to start the car. Hasn't caused an issue before but today it wouldn't work.
Any ideas how to get mobile? I kind of want to rip out the damn thing but not sure that will help the situation...
Immobilised...

Should be simple enough with e30s, modern car and your in a world of wires!
the alarm is most likely wired in at the c101 plug behind the glovebox, all you need to do is trace the wires, what exactly does it immobilize? you got ignition which is the green wire, starter which is yellow/black and fuel pump which is green/violet,
the alarms probably tapped into one or more of those wires, cut the wire of from the alarm, and join it back to the other end of the oem wiring, and just delete the alarm, or for a temp fix just t-tap or cut and get some wire and join the wire across to the other end bypassing the alarm,

Very, very easy to bypass, like any E30 immobiliser, but from here I don't know what circuits it's connected to. Try connecting a wire between battery + and coli + for a start and try the key. If the starter motor won't work, try linking the pins on the diagnostic socket.

cheers guys - will give a crack at ripping it out - most of the others i've removed have come out pretty painlessly as long as you get all the bits out.
