amazing work, oh man, i would love a B2B zaust
The LSD has had it's break in miles on mineral oil. The last few hundred were spent during a drifting day
So it was time for an oil change.
A nice opportunity to change to a Z3M finned diff cover as well.

@e30topless here goes!
I bought this staggered set of 'pinas a few days ago here at the zone
I thought matching them with a set of Toyo Proxes R1R's would be a good idea. Tyre sizes are 225/45/16 and 205/50/16.

I'm quite pleased with the stance. This is what a 60/60mm lowered pre-facelift (with M30 boat anchor) looks like...

Nice job mate, looks fab
Bit the bullit; and tore apart a seat. Both rh bolsters needed some attention...

e30topless had carefully hidden some tissue in one of them - I'm not sure if I want to know what that had been used for before

I'm really happy with the final result.

The white chromie was put to the test last weekend.
I was invited for a road-trip with wheelmen.
And being with wheelmen means you're in good company. Both you and your car.

Tasty ingredients like Black Forest High Road (Schwarzwaldhochstrasse) and Route des Crêtes make a 100% fun guarantee.
Buckle up!

Haha...
Above video doesn't sport much engine sound. We were cruising around there with the 500SL steamboat amongst us; which isn't quite up to fast cornering anyway.
It's a real shame my co-driver didn't catch me and the M3 chasing a Porsche Turbo for some good 15 minutes on film. I'm afraid I would have been still cleaning my interior by now...
Only representative flic I have around is this one:

The e30/M30 with the BTB exhaust is quite a silent combination whilst normal driving.

What's the deal with this? I assume you have to inform the RDW and then what, they send an assessor to check it out?walinsky wrote: Had the car checked by authorities for having changed the engine/gearbox - and altering registration accordingly. Got nothing but compliments.
