Hi i've just bought a 89 2 door facelift, the steering is fucking stiff and thats no exaggeration, on my convertible which is 2 years newer its nice and light, I havent actually popped the bonnet yet, but will tomorrow to look for the extra pulley and power steering pump, so my question to you is do you think it should have one?
Do all e30s have them, optional extra, or a age related thing ie pre facelift and facelift??
which e30s have power steering?

Almost certain PAS became standard on the Facelifted cars even on the poverty spec stuff.
If its ridiculously heavy maybe the PAS belt has snapped ?

I'd find it quite funny if there is a post later 'can't find the bonnet release'.
