I'll be the first to admit you'd struggle to find better.
But could you live with such a shite spec?!!! And if you specced it up it'd be no longer be original and so any value it had (which ain't 10 bags in my book) will deminish.

You'd only buy something that immaculate to stick her in the garage and drive it once a year....bit pointless unless you're loaded, and if you are, why buy a 318i?

For that to command that sort of money it has to be immaculate and pretty much perfect and it needs to be on decent tyres ideally MXV's

These were my thoughts, if I had 10 grand just to throw at something to stick in the garage, it'd be something much better than a 318ialexdejonghe wrote:You'd only buy something that immaculate to stick her in the garage and drive it once a year....bit pointless unless you're loaded, and if you are, why buy a 318i?

Does look lovely but i'd want and clean C2 for that sort of outlay.
Beautiful cars on there but prices do seem steep. £6.5k for a Polo

G40 or not thats surely a bit steep?

I wonder where they find their stock, you never see them like this anywhere else!
could have at least color coded the bumpers though for that price!

Point is;
4* classics are in the business of supplying low miles, low owner 'classic' cars.
Punters with the cash will be happier paying them £10k rather than paying you or I £5k for a similar car.

If you have £10k to spunk on a 1.8 cabbie,then a mere £225 for rent is a trifle!Alex wrote:10k and no tax

4star classics are a dealer and a car broker, so I would imagine some people would take advantage of the no fee no sell and get them to market the car on their behalf, at high prices
I'm sure serious buyers don't pay the asking price either,
I'm not surprised they keep on getting nice cars for sale if you had a car for sale why would you not use them.

This car was up for sale at the Bromley Pageant of Motoring last year for £7K
(Definitely the same car as it has a little dymo label under the temp gauge with the tyre pressures it)
Either they're making a few grand profit or they're selling at a fat commission.
