Hi there,

For some reason, every time I pull the little knob to wash my windscreen, nothing comes out.

I've inspected this further by opening the bonnet and the water is squirting out this white thing. I can obviously understand what it's purpose is, however I don't know what it's called or what the part number is so I can tell BMW what it is, to change it over. Anyone have any ideas?

On another note, I've got the optional wipers at the front (which don't work... I've taken the lights out, so I can clean the motors and tried the superwash, but nothing came out the pipes... Is this a pump problem?

Thanks

The water squirts out a little hole on the white t-piece when the valve inside has given up. That is what i was told by a bmw parts bloke. The new one i bought wasn't much better as it only feeds one of the jets for some reason. And you will need it fixed for an mot!

You will also need several new clips for the hoses as you will mangle them removing the old valve.

Mick (magpie) did. It's called a one way valve or something like that search eBay for a cheap one. I think the one the link showed was for a land rover. It works, so I believe.
