need to give the insurance a close guide to what bhp my car will be running now, any idears, gearbox back is m40, m52 engine with 6kg m20 flywheel and m50 inlet with aftermarket induction kit, iv looked on here for peoples stats but could not find anything???

It will only be the manifold that will increase the bhp, I wouls tell them 205bhp and be done with it.

iv left it with my brooker, but probaly going to use adrian flux as they were cheaper last time for my modded t4 bus,

Much depends on what your background is, where you live, what you are using the car for (daily social & domestic + commuting), what your previous experience is with RWD stuff.

I would say proper cover with everything declared and no limited mileage of 3k a year crap will cost you over £450 a year if you are aged 30+ and have a good record

35, no accidents, 9 pts in the last 5 years - living around heathrow, social only - I keep getting quoted around £800 for a 320i convertible auto which has been modded to a 2.8 manual. lowered, and mtec2 kit

that don't sound that bad for a convertible, modded in london, lol especially with all them points,, my first quote was 500 on my touring, im 33, clean rec and live in the middle of bloody nowhere lol iv got to get it down from that though as an old 328 e36 4/5 years ago was only about 300 with my younger wife on it..

bloody hell, thats a steel.. there used to be H I C insurance that were good and even threw in track day cover but im not sure if there still going..

HIC are still going, they are big on the VW front, they are owned by Adrian Flux now though
