I'm the other way round - not keen on the square lights at all but louvres are cool!

The rear window louvres and the black boot spoiler make it look like a peroid (badly) modded Mk5 Cortina in this snap....

It would work better on a car with a shallower rear window angle.

It is an ugly beast. Why is it considered a "true coupe" though? Just because it has a softer rake on the rear window?

To be fair, I think the design engineer at Baur was tooting crack in the 80's, didn't think much of the cab conversions either

I just don't understand why people have to mess with a good design, the BMW made vert was and is a beautiful thing, the 2 door saloon is hardly ugly, then they go and do that to them. The only design change I think would make an E30 look better is a lower roof line
