I think I've sussed my central locking issues :D I just want to double check what I've done is right and that my car won't go up in flames ! I tyres every thing today I replaced the relay cleaned all the connection on every joint on the central lock the micro switch and nothing ...... The connection between the a pillar and door was slightly corroded but nothing major cleaned that and still nothing ..... I then came across an old post I put on here about the central locking problem and see that the red and black wire mod had been posted on my page , I read it carefully about 20 times and read some other pages on it . What I've done works perfectly :)
What I done was the 3 red and black wires that go in to the a pillar I snipped and put in a connector block I then cut the red and black wire that go into the central locking unit and joined it to the wire coming out of the relay . Leaving the 3 wires coming from the a pillar I put insulation tap on each end .and the wire that went in to the relay I also put tape on does this sound like I've done it right ??every thing is working I've took fuse 27 out for now to be safe . 1 of the 3 wires when putting the bits back in place came out I'm guessing this was the live from the door to the relay as it had the tape on the end

That reads right to me,cabbie's have three red/blacks that need to be joined together. The aim is to eliminate the red/black loop into the driver's door.

Be better if you soldered and heat shrunk the joint, though!

Them 3 wires I joined then it said to cut the red and black to the relay and join to that ? It must be right to work ?? Just worried that wiring will melt or cause major damage , it should just blow fuse 27 ??

If you've cut three red/black wires, joined them together, and it all works, then it sounds like you've done it right.
