Bleeding your coolant system is generally the way to get rid of an air lock.

Raise up the front of the car.Put the blowers on hot and a full power. Run the engine and get the revs up to about 2.5k. Open the bleed valve on the thermostat. Air should come out followed by coolant. Repeat process until just coolant comes out when opening.
