Does outer Sill for 2 door Touring fit the Baur

Hi people.... Does anyone know if the outers sills (that run under the doors) for the 2 door Touring are the same for the Baur?
I'm sure i've been given wrong ones for my Baur and the stickers on Sill says

BMW 315-325 (e30) 83/90 Touring
00 54 00 1
Panel 2-DRS

I'm thinking the difference may be small, like theres no lip running along the bottom and a bit near the rear that looks like a outward facing dent and the foot-plate bit completely covering the 2 join lines (possibly water drain chanels) on both sides.
Basically I dont think the Full outer Sills for the 2 door Touring are the same as needed for the 2 door coupe (for those that don't know - the Baur cabrio was made from the 2 ddor coupe).
Anyhows if anyone knows for sure before I take them back it would be useful.... Cheers

There's no factory 2-door touring, so most of your post makes no sense.

Your Baur is a 2-door. Since all Tourings are 4-door, then no, you can't use a Touring sill on your car.

If however your sill is for a 2-door, then it's not for a Touring and will work on your Baur.

Many thanks Grrrmachine, so the upshot is the label on the sill itself (quoted above) is a contradiction in itself becos it says its for the Touring and 2dr?

But it gets worse, altho the sticker on sill itself says what I've quoted above, the actual reciept says e36 4 door???

I've held it against the car itself and the length seems right but its the little bits I've mentioned above that dont seem right? Anyway I'l take them back tomorrow purely because the sticker on sill states its for a car that doesnt exist??? Thanks again for putting me right... Have a nice day..
