Theyve been up and down, just thought id poke my nose in to see how things are progressing with jbu, also had a look at yours and was stunned to see almost no progress at all, Ha!
Mind you with you currently being locked up/out you should have a bit of time to do a bit. Must catch up.

Update time.
I have had a busy and stressful time of it the past few weeks. She's is finally back down on the ground minus the exhaust.
Its all started to come together nicely with only a few hick ups on the way.
Some pics.
A box of love from Dan. I can't thank Dan enough. Alway's happy to help and take the piss out of the E39 oil burner.

Some more front end action.

Nice Plastics.

And back on the ground running with a poorly fitted exhaust.

All that is left to do is sort my poorly fitting exhaust, a miny shake down and a deep clean ready for some mot action!
Its been a hard week with everything conspiring against me.
I had to fit a new thermostat plus a new housing as I bust the old one.
New slave cylinder for the clutch just loads of little shitty fixes but I'm turning the corner.
I need to sort the exhaust before the end of the month ready for a mot for the summer.

Thanks Chaps
Well I insured the slag today ready for some trailer action in the morning.
The exhaust should be fabbed up and fitted tomorrow. All that's left to do is the tracking and then the MOT next week.
This is a view that we should all have out of your living room window.

Here some more pics of the exhaust action. Its not perfect as the front pipes had to cut and the middle silencer is a little far back.
I might save up and just got an oem from the stealers.
Check out the E36 Scubbers!

Thanks for all the comments chaps.
I had a sneaky drive around the estate. The lightened fly and rack make it a different car to drive.
Plastics back on and MOT Monday.

Little Update
I had the exhaust done and was ready for some MOT action but the crap weather made my mind up to try and cure a throttle response problem just of idle.
I posted up a thread in the Tech help section and followed the zone advice to sort any air leaks.

Some pics of the work

You can see the small split in the cam cover breather pipe and the O rings on the pipe between the block and inlet manifold had seen better days.
The car was stinking of fuel at idle and sooting up the plugs as per a lot of threads in the Tech section.
After all the work a quick blast up the road under load and a plug checked proved that the donk is not rich when hot.
Lovely Brown Plug

I then got busy with the Fertan and some of bilt hammers finest.

I used the S50 gear in all the sills using the lance and gave the inner arches a good blast as well.
I then used the UC stuff under all the kit as a bit of a protective barrier to the elements. I also replaced all of the thin clear protective strips on the Tech II kit as well to stop ant rubbing.
Oh The Shame

One fooked E46 Cab top mount. This went on the way home from the MOT. Should have read the wikki.
So today I rebuilt the rear shocks with the spreader washer as per the Wikki.

And some final shots of the MOT and a little Clay bar action.
Only one advisory on the MOT. Well Chuffed.

I had a cheeky drive today before the clean and I can't recommend the lightened fly and rack conversion enough. There is so much more mid range pull when standing on the gas.
I'm also impressed with Gaz gear. I've got the shocks set half way on the adjusters and the ride is nice and compliant but firm enough when pressing on. Time will tell with this set up.

And last but not least. A trailer to pick up the next project. Should have some pictures up this weekend coming.
