My blower started playing up a few weeks ago, it worked ok but squeaked a bit on all speeds. It then popped it's fuse but worked again after replacing it. Now it's stopped all together. I've had the cover off the bulkhead and it spins freely. Any ideas?

mine did this on my old e30, it was the actual bearing in the motor, does it osolate (vibrate loud) on certain speed? Thats what mine did, twas a pain in the bum.

oh, ok i got you. Im sure if you take it out and dismantle it you will find the problem quite easily and if its bearings or brushes etc then a good electric motor shop, manfacturer or something like that could sort you some bits?
